At 1036 pm cdt, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 7 miles west of amazonia to near savannah, moving southeast at 65 mph. these are very dangerous storms (radar indicated). Hazards include 80 mph wind gusts. Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. mobile homes will be heavily damaged. expect considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles. extensive tree damage and power outages are likely. locations impacted include, st. joseph, cameron, savannah, wathena, elwood, maysville, highland, troy, country club villa, country club, king city, oregon, stewartsville, agency, union star, osborn, amazonia, clarksdale, forest city and fillmore. this includes the following highways, interstate 35 in missouri between mile markers 52 and 66. Interstate 29 between mile markers 39 and 76.
