7/13/2015 4:26 PM EDT	At 425 pm edt, doppler radar indicated a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. these storms were located along a line extending from near winfield to 7 miles southeast of culloden, and moving east at 35 mph. * severe thunderstorms will be near, nitro and poca around 430 pm edt. alum creek and cross lanes around 435 pm edt. tornado around 440 pm edt. jefferson, st. albans, sissonville and institute around 445 pm edt. charleston, south charleston and dunbar around 450 pm edt. pinch around 500 pm edt. marmet and elkview around 505 pm edt. chesapeake, belle and coal fork around 510 pm edt. other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include sod, palermo, griffithsville, foster, prenter, myra, sharon, sylvester, yawkey and woodville.
7/7/2015 5:41 PM EDT	The severe thunderstorm warning for southeastern gallia, northwestern putnam, southern mason and central cabell counties will expire at 545 pm edt, the storms which prompted the warning have weakened below severe limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property. therefore the warning will be allowed to expire.

5/11/2015 6:07 PM EDT	At 604 pm edt, national weather service doppler radar continued to indicate a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. these storms were located along a line extending from buffalo to teays valley to nitro to tornado, or along a line extending from 10 miles northwest of winfield to winfield to nitro, moving east at 45 mph. other locations in the warning include but are not limited to poca, institute, bancroft, south charleston, dunbar, liberty, yeager airport, sissonville, pinch, elkview, coal fork and charleston this will impact the following interstates, i-64 between mile markers 33 and 57 in west virginia, i-77 between mile markers 96 and 121 in west virginia, i-79 between mile markers 1 and 9, the west virginia turnpike between mile markers 91 and 95. a severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 1000 pm edt monday evening for central kentucky and southeast ohio and central west virginia. a severe thunderstorm watch also remains in effect until 100 am edt tuesday morning for central west virginia. please report severe weather to the national weather service by calling toll free, 800-401-9535, when you can do so safely. you may also report severe weather by posting your report to the charleston west virginia national weather service facebook page, or by using the twitter hashtag, nwsrlx.
