4/6/2017 1:08 AM EDT	The severe thunderstorm warning for western catawba, southeastern rutherford, western lincoln, southeastern caldwell, cleveland and southeastern burke counties will expire at 115 am edt, the storms which prompted the warning have moved out of the area. therefore the warning will be allowed to expire. however heavy rain is still possible with these thunderstorms. a severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 700 am edt for the piedmont of north carolina. remember, a severe thunderstorm warning still remains in effect for much of northern lincoln and central and eastern catawba counties until 1230 am.
