Hazards include 60 mph wind gusts. Expect damage to roofs. siding. and trees. Locations impacted include, smithfield, garner, fuquay-varina, clayton, dunn, angier, benson, holly springs, coats and four oaks.

2/24/2016 6:52 PM EST	At 651 pm est, doppler radar continued to indicate additional severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging winds in excess of 58 mph. this storm was located 8 miles west of clinton, moving northeast at 30 mph. locations impacted include, clinton, roseboro, newton grove, salemburg, autryville and hobbton. a tornado watch remains in effect until 1100 pm est for central north carolina.

7/18/2015 6:06 PM EDT	The severe thunderstorm warning for east central sampson county will expire at 615 pm edt, the storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property. therefore the warning will be allowed to expire. however heavy rain is still possible with this thunderstorm.
