7/6/2016 5:58 PM EDT The severe thunderstorm warning for south central florence and northwestern williamsburg counties will expire at 600 pm edt, the storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits and as a result the warning will be allowed to expire. although the storm has weakened below severe limits it still has the potential to produce wind gusts to 40 mph and cloud to ground lightning. a severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 900 pm edt for northeastern south carolina.
