6/27/2015 8:44 PM EDT Radar Image for Severe Thunderstorms near Carolina Shores, NC at 6/27/2015 8:47 PM EDT At 843 pm edt, doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing quarter size hail and damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. this storm was located near lake view, or 8 miles northeast of mullins, and moving east at 50 mph.
