Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. damage to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. tree damage is likely. this dangerous storm will be near, rathbun lake around 325 pm cst. albia around 345 pm cst. Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include russell, lovilia, melrose and honey creek state park.

The severe thunderstorm warning for southern mahaska, monroe, wapello, appanoose and davis counties will expire at 245 am cdt, the storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits, and no longer pose an immediate threat to life or property. therefore the warning will be allowed to expire. however heavy rain is still possible with this thunderstorm.
