1/8/2016 11:25 PM CST	At 1125 pm cst, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over evergreen, or near bunkie, moving northeast at 40 mph (radar indicated rotation). Hazards include tornado and quarter size hail. Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. damage to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. tree damage is likely. this dangerous storm will be near, hessmer around 1130 pm cst. marksville, cottonport and mansura around 1135 pm cst. moreauville and plaucheville around 1140 pm cst. bordelonville around 1150 pm cst. big bend around 1200 am cst. Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include hamburg.

Hazards include 60 mph wind gusts. Expect damage to roofs. siding and trees. locations impacted include, marksville, bunkie, simmesport, moreauville, bordelonville, effie, cottonport, mansura, hessmer, evergreen, plaucheville, big bend, goudeau, deville, brouillette, lake ophelia national wildlife refuge, dupont and hamburg. A tornado watch remains in effect until 800 pm cst for central louisiana.

6/27/2015 2:23 PM CDT	The severe thunderstorm warning for southeastern rapides, northeastern evangeline and southwestern avoyelles parishes will expire at 230 pm cdt, the severe thunderstorm which prompted the warning has weakened. therefore the warning will be allowed to expire, however wind gusts in excess of 40 mph will remain possible with this storm.

5/26/2015 12:52 AM CDT	The severe thunderstorm warning for calcasieu, northwestern cameron, jefferson davis, southeastern beauregard, eastern rapides, central st. landry, evangeline, avoyelles, acadia and southeastern allen parishes, southeastern orange and southeastern jefferson counties will expire at 100 am cdt, the storms which prompted the warning have weakened below severe limits and exited the warned area. therefore the warning will be allowed to expire. however gusty winds are still possible with these thunderstorms.
