At 416 pm edt, doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. this storm was located 8 miles west of mayday, or 8 miles southeast of valdosta, moving northeast at 20 mph. locations impacted include, valdosta, lake park, dasher, stockton, greenwood and naylor.

At 343 pm edt, the national weather service has detected a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. this storm was located near i-75 at exit 16, or near lake park, and moving northeast at 30 mph. there have been several trees blown down with these storms, including trees on interstate 10.
