Hazards include 60 mph wind gusts. Expect damage to roofs. siding and trees. locations impacted include, salem, st. elmo, odin, kinmundy, patoka, farina, omega, fairman, helm, stephen forbes station, tonti, la clede, iuka, st. peter, alma, kell, vernon, selmaville, st. james and loogootee. this includes the following highways, interstate 70 in illinois near exit 76. interstate 57 in illinois between exits 109 and 135. A tornado watch remains in effect until 500 pm cst for south central illinois.
