4/25/2015 5:48 PM CDT At 547 pm cdt, national weather service doppler radar indicated a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing destructive winds in excess of 70 mph. these storms were located along a line extending from 6 miles southeast of abbeville to near cottonwood, moving east at 55 mph. in addition, at 535 pm cdt, dothan airport reported a wind gust to 59 mph. locations impacted include, abbeville, cottonwood, fort gaines, headland, dothan, taylor, kinsey, ashford, cowarts, webb, columbia, rehobeth, avon, newville, madrid, gordon, haleburg, memphis, scottsboro crossroads and pleasant plains.
4/25/2015 5:26 PM CDT At 525 pm cdt, doppler radar indicated a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing destructive winds in excess of 70 mph. these storms were located along a line extending from 8 miles southeast of blue springs state park to 7 miles south of hartford, moving east at 60 mph. winds of 55 mph were recently reported at fort rucker. locations impacted include, daleville, abbeville, cottonwood, fort gaines, dothan, headland, ozark, fort rucker, hartford, taylor, midland city, kinsey, ashford, slocomb, cowarts, newton, webb, columbia, pinckard and malvern.
