At 909 pm cdt, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from lake of the woods to near atwood to near dalton city, moving east at 50 mph (radar indicated). Hazards include 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. Hail damage to vehicles is expected. expect wind damage to roofs, siding and trees. locations impacted include, champaign, decatur, urbana, rantoul, monticello, tuscola, savoy, mahomet, mount zion, st. joseph, tolono, arcola, villa grove, arthur, fisher, bement, philo, cerro gordo, long creek and sidney. this includes the following highways, interstate 57 between mile markers 202 and 256. interstate 72 between mile markers 157 and 182. Interstate 74 between mile markers 161 and 198.
