6/27/2015 9:27 PM EDT The severe thunderstorm warning for southern bladen, southwestern brunswick, southeastern robeson, columbus and central horry counties will expire at 930 pm edt, the storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property. therefore the warning will be allowed to expire. however gusty winds are still possible with this thunderstorm.

6/18/2015 6:35 PM EDT At 634 pm edt, doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing quarter size hail and damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. this storm was located over ash, or 9 miles northwest of shallotte, moving southeast at 30 mph. locations impacted include, shallotte, boiling spring lakes, bethel, lake waccamaw, supply, freeman, ash, crusoe island, freeland, old dock, pireway, nakina, exum, honey island, mollie, dulah, brunswick county community college main campus, makatoka, bughill and longwood. this includes the following highways, us route 74 between mile markers 411 and 419. us route 17 in brunswick county between mile markers 13 and 33.
6/18/2015 6:24 PM EDT The severe thunderstorm warning for south central bladen, northwestern brunswick and central columbus counties will expire at 630 pm edt, the storm which prompted the warning has moved out of the area. therefore the warning will be allowed to expire. however gusty winds are still possible with this thunderstorm. remember, a severe thunderstorm warning still remains in effect for portions of the same area of columbus and brunswick counties.

5/21/2015 4:28 PM EDT At 427 pm edt, doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing quarter size hail and damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. this storm was located over riegelwood, or 13 miles northwest of leland, moving east at 25 mph. locations impacted include, sandyfield, rooks, freeman, currie, delco, riegelwood, point caswell, kelly, bolton and east arcadia. this includes us route 74 between mile markers 410 and 422. a tornado warning remains in effect until 445 pm for eastern columbus county.
