At 742 pm cdt, a confirmed tornado was located 5 miles north of lake city, or 5 miles southwest of rockwell city, moving northeast at 30 mph (weather spotters confirmed tornado). Hazards include damaging tornado. Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. damage to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. tree damage is likely. the tornado will be near, rockwell city around 755 pm cdt. north twin lake and south twin lake around 800 pm cdt. manson around 810 pm cdt. other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include twin lakes, twin lakes state park and rockwell city municipal airport. Observed.

At 1052 pm cdt, a severe thunderstorm was located near manson, or 11 miles northeast of rockwell city, moving southeast at 25 mph (trained weather spotters). Hazards include tennis ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts. People and animals outdoors will be injured. expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows and vehicles. expect wind damage to roofs, siding and trees. locations impacted include, manson, north twin lake, twin lakes, barnum, moorland, somers, knierim, rinard, lizard creek state recreation area and twin lakes state park. 2. 50in.
