4/1/2016 4:01 PM EDT	At 401 pm edt, doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. this storm was located near wintergreen, or 16 miles south of waynesboro, and moving east at 30 mph.
8/11/2015 7:59 PM EDT	At 759 pm edt, doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing quarter size hail and damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. this storm was located near lake monticello, or 7 miles southeast of charlottesville, and moving southeast at 20 mph.
6/30/2015 11:07 PM EDT	The severe thunderstorm warning for southern albemarle, east central nelson counties and the city of charlottesville will expire at 1115 pm edt, the storms which prompted the warning have weakened below severe limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property. therefore the warning will be allowed to expire. however gusty winds and heavy rain are still possible with these thunderstorms. to report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement agency. they will relay your report to the national weather service sterling virginia.
6/30/2015 10:45 PM EDT	At 1045 pm edt, doppler radar indicated a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. these storms were located along a line extending from near schuyler to near centenary, moving northeast at 40 mph. locations impacted include, charlottesville, schuyler, westmoreland, scottsville, keene, woodridge, newcomb hall, scott stadium, glendower, monticello, carrsbrook, north garden, damon, overton, shadwell, barracks, boyd tavern, esmont and alberene.

6/25/2015 8:42 PM EDT	At 841 pm edt, doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. this storm was located near lake monticello, or 8 miles southeast of charlottesville, moving southeast at 35 mph. locations impacted include, charlottesville, keene, overton, shadwell, woodridge, barracks, newcomb hall, scott stadium, boyd tavern and monticello.
