7/14/2015 8:41 AM EDT Radar Image for Severe Thunderstorms near Chimney Rock Village, NC at 7/14/2015 8:44 AM EDT The severe thunderstorm warning for rutherford, southern buncombe, southern mcdowell, polk and henderson counties will expire at 845 am edt, the line of storms which prompted the warning have weakened below severe limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property. therefore the warning will be allowed to expire. however gusty winds and heavy rain are still possible with these thunderstorms.
