A severe thunderstorm warning remains in effect until 930 pm cdt for western jim hogg. zapata and western starr counties. at 847 pm cdt. doppler radar indicated a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing quarter size hail and destructive winds in excess of 70 mph. These storms were located along a line extending from near el cenizo to 32 miles west of falcon dam.
