4/20/2015 8:05 PM EDT	At 804 pm edt, doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing half dollar size hail and destructive winds in excess of 70 mph. this storm was located over american university, or near bethesda, moving northeast at 55 mph. locations impacted include, rockville, vienna, elkridge, the american legion memorial bridge, bethesda, columbia, olney, laurel, north chevy chase, ellicott city, north kensington, north bethesda, wheaton-glenmont, savage-guilford, south kensington, rossmoor, forest glen, aspen hill, kemp mill and white oak in montgomery county. a tornado watch remains in effect until 1000 pm edt for central maryland and northern virginia.
