6/29/2023 1:12 PM CDT	The severe thunderstorm warning for southeastern marshall, northeastern logan, woodford, northwestern de witt, eastern tazewell, mclean and northeastern peoria counties will expire at 115 pm cdt, the storms which prompted the warning have moved out of the area. therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. however hail and strong wind gusts are still possible with these storms as they head east. a severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 500 pm cdt for central illinois. remember, a severe thunderstorm warning still remains in effect for champaign and eastern mclean counties.

This includes interstate 39 between mile markers 8 and 28.

Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. damage to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. tree damage is likely. this dangerous storm will be near, eureka and carlock around 615 pm cdt. roanoke and secor around 620 pm cdt. el paso around 625 pm cdt. minonk and gridley around 630 pm cdt. other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include congerville, evergreen lake, panola, benson and kappa. this includes the following highways, interstate 39 between mile markers 8 and 28. Interstate 74 between mile markers 107 and 122.

Hazards include 60 mph wind gusts. Expect damage to roofs. siding and trees. locations impacted include, bloomington, normal, lincoln, clinton, heyworth, el paso, minonk, lexington, hudson, atlanta, mount pulaski, gridley, danvers, wenona, downs, mclean, stanford, wapella, carlock and towanda. this includes the following highways, interstate 155 between mile markers 0 and 1. interstate 39 between mile markers 0 and 40. interstate 55 between mile markers 112 and 179. interstate 74 between mile markers 116 and 147. A tornado watch remains in effect until 1100 pm cdt for central illinois.
