5/16/2015 12:36 AM CDT The severe thunderstorm warning for southeastern gosper and eastern furnas counties will expire at 1245 am cdt, the storms which prompted the warning have weakened below severe limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property. therefore the warning will be allowed to expire. however small hail and gusty winds are still possible with these thunderstorms.

5/9/2015 8:37 PM CDT At 834 pm cdt, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near oxford, or 16 miles southwest of holdrege, moving north at 25 mph (radar indicated rotation). Hazards include tornado. Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. damage to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. tree damage is likely. at 825 pm cdt, a trained spotter reported a brief tornado crossed highway 89 around 5 miles west of orleans. at 836 pm cdt, a trained spotter reported a second breif tornado between oxford and orleans. this tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern harlan county. Radar indicated.
